WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Carlos A. Gimenez (FL-26) introduced the Preventing Usurpation of Power and Privileges by Extralegal Territories' Sedition Act, known as the PUPPETS Act.

MIAMI, FL - Congressman Carlos A. Gimenez (FL-26) introduced today the Combatting Communism Act in the House of Representatives. The legislation directs the Department of State to create a Special Envoy to retool American foreign policy to counter communist and authoritarian governments around the world. Gimenez is joined by Reps. Mario Diaz-Balart of Florida, Maria Elvira Salazar of Florida, and Nicole Malliotakis of New York in introducing the bill.

MIAMI, FL - Congressman Carlos A. Gimenez (FL-26) introduced the South Florida Ecosystem Enhancement Act, which reauthorizes and reforms the South Florida Geographic Program (SFGP) to support ecosystem restoration and monitoring efforts across the contiguous aquatic ecosystems of southern Florida. Florida Senator Marco Rubio introduced companion legislation in the Senate .

MIAMI, FL - Congressman Carlos A. Gimenez (FL-26) led a bipartisan letter to the White House COVID Coordinator to reconsider the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)'s Level 4 travel advisory for cruises. All 29 signatories of the letter also ask for the CDC to consider modifying the proposed voluntary program to treat the industry fairly and based on science and data.
