Thank you for your interest in interning with Congressman Carlos A. Gimenez's office. We welcome applications from motivated students and young professionals interested in public service, the legislative process, and serving the people of Florida's 28th Congressional District.
To apply for an internship in our Miami or Washington, D.C. office, please complete and submit the application form below. You will be asked to upload both a cover letter and resume at the end of the application. Both documents are required for your application to be considered.
Application Deadline – Fall 2026: August 19, 2026
Intern responsibilities may include:
- Answering phone calls and assisting constituents
- Greeting visitors to the office
- Conducting U.S. Capitol tours for constituents (Washington, D.C. office)
- Compiling daily local and national news clips relevant to the office
- Drafting memoranda on briefings, hearings, and legislation
- Assisting with the office's mail program
- Supporting staff with additional projects and assignments as needed
