WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Carlos Gimenez (R-FL) released the following statement in response to the Biden-Harris Administration's move to lift Communist Cuba from the List of State Sponsors of Terrorism.

“President Biden’s decision is a pathetic and cowardly. Come January 20th, there will be a new sheriff in town and President Trump alongside Secretary of State Marco Rubio, will not only put Cuba back on the list but pulverize the regime once and for all,” said Congressman Carlos Gimenez. “The Castro regime must remain on the List of State Sponsors of Terrorism, until they comply with the conditions codified in the LIBERTAD Act, including guaranteeing freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the right to assemble and organize, and hold free and fair elections.”
