WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Carlos A. Giménez (FL-28), a Member of the House Armed Services Committee (HASC), voted in favor of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to fully fund our military and support our service members through Fiscal Year 2024.
With the United States facing a host of pressing issues, from Communist China’s increased aggression in the Indo-Pacific to attacks by Iran-backed Hamas terrorists against our dear friend Israel, Rep. Gimenez is proud to support an NDAA that ensures our military is ready and able to meet these challenges head on.
“As the first Member of Congress representing Miami-Dade County and the Florida Keys appointed to the House Armed Services Committee, I am proud to support this NDAA to guarantee our military remains the strongest in the world,” said Rep. Gimenez. “As the United States faces increased pressure from our adversaries, I am proud to vote for a NDAA that bolsters military strength and supports the brave men and women in uniform who defend our nation.”
