MIAMI, FL - Today, Congressman Carlos A. Giménez (FL-28) issued the following statement on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, a day where we honor and remember the six million Jews who were brutally killed during the Holocaust:

“On this International Holocaust Remembrance Day - the 78th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau - let us honor the lives of the six million Jews systematically murdered during the Holocaust. We must never forget the atrocities the Jewish people endured and recommit ourselves to combating the scourge of anti-Semitism and hate,” said Rep. Gimenez. “Sadly, the rot of anti-Semitism still exists in our society and we have seen a despicable rise in incidents following the October 7th attacks - the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust. Never again is now and we must stand with the Democratic, Jewish State of Israel as they defend themselves from savage Hamas terrorists. I am proud to join my fellow Americans, and others across the world, as we pause and commit to the promise of Never Again.”
