Dear Friends,

The ongoing border crisis is continuing to escalate. Since the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse three years ago, the Biden Administration has stood idly by while Haiti descends into chaos. The unrest has resulted in thousands fleeing Haiti and entering the U.S. illegally. The safety and security of our community are at risk of another mass migration event from Haiti due to the continuing rampant gang violence and the mass release of thousands of violent criminals from the country’s jails. These gang criminals are now starting to make their way into our community.

When the U.S. Border Patrol responded to a boat carrying 118 Haitian nationals in Key West at 4:00AM, federal agents worked with state and local authorities to investigate the migrant boat. This illegal crossing is just one of the latest examples of how Biden’s border crisis is impacting communities across our nation.

President Biden is directly responsible for the worst border crisis in American history. I demand the Biden Administration take immediate action and put forth a comprehensive strategy to address the unrest in Haiti and work with state and local authorities to prevent this security from impacting South Florida families. Florida is a border state, and I'm fighting in Congress to hold the Biden Administration accountable for failing to enforce our public safety immigration laws.

Sincerely,

Your Congressman,
Carlos A. Gimenez

Congressman Carlos Gimenez Brings Attention to Our Injured Soldiers

I joined Chris Cuomo to discuss the effects of the military mandate on the COVID vaccine. Our service men and women deserve to be taken care of, not abandoned.

“We need to protect our men and women as they go out and put their lives on the line for us. It is only fair and is only right that when they get injured on duty that the American people, the United States of America, takes care of our service men and women,” said Rep. Gimenez.

Congressman Carlos Gimenez Sounds the Alarm on the Ongoing Border Crisis

I joined Maria Bartiromo to discuss the failed immigration policies that the Biden Administration is pushing. What President Biden is doing is illegal and as a result is costing American lives. Our national security must come first and this massive surge in illegal border crossing is compromising the very thread of our democracy.

“Parole is supposed to be granted on a case-by-case basis – that’s not happening at our border as millions are crossing unvetted into our country. Biden’s border crisis has created an unbelievable threat to our national security,” tweeted Rep. Gimenez.
