Butler, PA – Today, Congressman Carlos A. Gimenez visited the site of the July 13, 2024, tragic and failed assassination attempt of the 45th President, Donald Trump. Rep. Gimenez spoke to the American people through a video statement recorded from the rooftop where the would-be assassin tried to shoot President Trump.

Rep. Gimenez shows how easy, even for a 70-year-old man, it was for any individual to climb onto the unsecured rooftop. This egregious security breach is unacceptable and those complacent in allowing this failure must be held accountable.  

"I am a 70-year-old man. This roof is not a big deal," said Rep. Gimenez. "For someone to tell me that Secret Service Agents could not have been here is crazy."
