Dear Friends, 

As Socialist Dictator Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela continues to fraudulently claim victory over the true President-Elect Edmundo Gonzalez, the United States and regional allies must continue to lead the charge of ousting the Maduro regime. I continue to urge the U.S. government to implement harshest economic sanctions on the Maduro regime.

Nicolas Maduro continues to lie to his people and the world. He silences community leaders and news sites by implementing a 10 day ban on X, formally Twitter, to ensure that he continues to silence the voices of opposition. Maduro has further escalated the situation by sending his regime agents to arrest and kidnap hundreds daily that speak out against his regime, such as the former governor of Merida, Williams Davila. Governor Davila was arrested for simply attending a vigil for all political prisoners in Los Palos Grandes, Caracas. We demand his immediate release.

The United States must not turn a blind eye or forget the atrocities that are continuing to take place in Venezuela at the hands of Nicolas Maduro. Just last week on August 6th, Russia's Vladamir Putin sent Russian warships to La Guaira. This tactical move shows not only Putin’s support and friendship with Nicolas Maduro and the dictatorial regime, but also that Venezuela has become just another puppet of Putin’s Russia in the western hemisphere. 

As the representative for the largest Venezuelan exile community, I urge the Venezuelan people to continue to speak out and protest peacefully against this tyrant. You not only have my and the Miami communities' support, but the entire nation’s.
