Dear Friends,

As the situation in Cuba deteriorates, with 18% of the Cuban population fleeing in recent years, the Foundation for Human Rights in Cuba (FHRC) has found that nearly 115 Castro regime agents are already living in the United States. These agents include high-ranking Communist Party officials, judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement. FHRC has found that these individuals not only live in our South Florida community, but still have ties to the Cuban regime and can continue to pose a threat to our nation's security.

Joined by the Foundation for Human Rights in Cuba and community leaders, we discussed the presence of Castro Regime agents and human rights violators currently residing in the United States. Further, we condemned the Biden-Harris Administrations new parole program that has allowed for these agents to commit fraud against the United States and enter into our communities.

If you are a Castro agent, living within the United States, the U.S. government must identify you to then be returned to Cuba for committing immigration fraud. It is unacceptable that the Biden-Harris Administration is giving shelter to agents of the regime who murder innocent Cubans. Anyone that is responsible for opening the Cuban people should be inadmissible under U.S. immigration law.

Sincerely,

Your Congressman,
Carlos A. Gimenez

Congressman Carlos Gimenez Calls For Maria Corina Machado To Be Awarded The Nobel Peace Prize

I joined Florida Senators Rick Scott and Marco Rubio and Representatives Mario Diaz-Balart, Maria Elvira Salazar, Michael Waltz, Neal Dunn, and Byron Donalds in writing a letter to the Nobel Committee in support of Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado as a Nobel Peace Prize nominee. This letter in support comes as a response to Machado’s tireless and fearless efforts of defending and restoring democracy in Venezuela before and after the July 28, 2024, presidential elections that saw Edmundo Gonzalez the rightful elected leader of the nation.
