OSLO, NORWAY — Today, Congressman Carlos A. Gimenez (R-FL) arrived in Oslo, Norway, as a personal guest ahead of the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony honoring Venezuelan freedom fighter María Corina Machado.

María Corina Machado was awarded the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize on October 10, 2025, in recognition of her courageous leadership and unwavering fight for a free and democratic Venezuela while confronting a tyrannical regime in her homeland in the face of relentless persecution.
