MIAMI, FL – Congressman Carlos A. Gimenez, alongside U.S. Senator Ashley Moody, visited U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) in Miami. SOUTHCOM is responsible for overseeing U.S. military operations across Latin America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
“U.S. Southern Command plays a critical role in safeguarding our hemisphere,” said Representative Carlos A. In Congress, I remain committed to strengthening America’s military capabilities, protecting Florida, and ensuring the security of the United States against all who threaten our freedom.”
