Dear Friends,

This week’s Homeland Security hearing confirmed what I have warned about: the collapse of our southern border was not a failure; it was a policy.

Under the Biden administration, the border was open. Communities suffered. Criminals entered. And families across America paid the price. The claim that we simply needed “more funding” or “more agents” is now proven false. We didn’t need more—we needed leadership.

Further, I spoke with Secretary Kristi Noem, and I raised concerns about the recent changes to the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) program. I secured a commitment from the Secretary for a meeting to address the concerns of our community.

In addition, I called on Secretary Noem to investigate the list of 100 known Cuban regime agents that live in the U.S. These individuals should never have been allowed entry into the United States yet enjoy the freedoms they denied to thousands. Secretary Noem confirmed receipt of my letter and assured me that she will be responding.

Watch our discussion HERE.

Sincerely,

Your Congressman,
Carlos A. Gimenez
